Backyard Bounty knows that in the world we live in we cannot work with a business-as-usual mentality. We need to grow change inspire and educate one another. That’s why Backyard Bounty is committed to not only utilizing land resources to its fullest, but also utilizing people resources to their fullest which means combining efforts and investing time and energy into educating community members to be enabled to become part of the solution.

We will be welcoming community members to get involved in local food production from start to finish. Additionally we will also be coordinating educational workshops, skill shares and work parties on topics ranging from planting your seedlings, to chemical free pest control and even food preservation. We want to make the “work” of food a community social event, I can’t wait to see you all at our planting and canning parties!
